I am a social being by nature, and it is a desire for human connection that keeps me endlessly fascinated with creating functional pots. I love making things that other people will use in their homes and in their daily lives. I am honored when someone chooses a pot of mine; it feels like being invited in as a guest. I especially enjoy making mugs, high we hold and caress to warm our hands, and whose lips we bring to our mouths to drink from… a most intimate and unconscious connection…..
